superfood smoothie

I usually drink smoothies with just a few ingredients but with this one I went all out!! I looked for any superfood smoothie ingredients I could find and blended them together with vanilla protein powder and some leftover coconut water. It turned out SO good!! I topped it with a few coconut flakes, cacao nibs, macadamia nuts and a dollop of homemade caramel sauce (that’s a superfood, right?!) YUM!!


Ingredients:

1 cup of coconut water

1/2 cup of water

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

1 scoop collagen, I used this one

1/4 cup brazil nuts

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp hemp seeds

1 tbsp cacao nibs

1 tsp matcha powder

1/2 cup blueberries

1 small banana

1 cup of spinach, fresh or frozen

4-5 ice cubes

Directions:

Put everything in a blender and mix until smooth and thick.  Pour it into your favorite glass and top with coconut flakes, cacao nibs, and macadamia nuts or toppings of your choice.  Enjoy!!
